KICKSTARTER!

Art and the Mannequins is a start up Publishing and Production Company.

We’re hoping to publish an anthology of work in September. We have over 100 contributing writers and artists already!

We have everything we need to put this book out there; we’re just missing the funds to have our book printed.

We’re a group of young adults who are really passionate about ART and LITERATURE.

Without you, this project is just a dream.

We’ve built a large network of creative people. We have everyone from actors to animators involved in this project. We want to publish our collection in September and then combine our talents to transform writing from the book and adapt it into other forms such as short film and live drama. We already have a UK tour organised in September with adaptations from the book, and are planning a collection of short movies.

There is so much we want to do and can do with this project; we just need YOU to KICKSTART our work with this anthology.

£500 is the bare minimum print set up cost. The more money we raise, the more creative freedom we gain!

When putting together this book we wanted to strip away any boundaries writers and artists have upon entering the industry. We opened up submissions to ANYONE and accepted ANY THEME. We have everything from haiku’s to short psychological thrillers. This is an open collection of art. We have people from all over the world involved.

This book really is a labour of love for us. We’ve put everything into it. Please help us out!

In this day and age, as we all know, you need a job to get experience and experience to land the job- we are tired of waiting around for an opportunity so we’re making our own.
